Room 9 are studying growing plants from seeds.  We filled our planters with potting mix and placed our seeds in the pots.  The seeds were covered with dirt, watered well and placed in a sunny warm place to grow.  We have found out that seeds need: sunlight, air, water and soil to grow well.

Reese and Faoa are buddies working together problem solving in maths.

Piata is a fantastic story writer.  She uses lots of interesting verbs and adjectives.  We love reading her stories.

"We use the computer as a tool for learning. It's extra handy when you are writing a story with a broken arm!" Said Noah.

  2. Growing plants from seeds is really exciting. Kyleigh, Kaden and I are watching our broad beans germinate in a petri dish so we can see the roots form before we plant them in pots and watch them grow.
